Winter/Spring 2025 Intern

Another Chicago Magazine is open for internship applications. We publish many genres and the work depends on our needs and the intern's interests. 

We publish new work twice a week, and one intern will be responsible for posting (WordPress). Interns may also work on editing, posting social media, assisting genre editors, editing and fact checking, arranging readings. 

Former interns have become ACM managing editor, assistant poetry editor, and fiction reader. Others have found full-time jobs at other publications. 

Please send a letter stating which types of tasks you'd like to support during your internship, and what you want to learn. Past interns have received academic credit but you do not have to be a student to apply.  

Please include a resume/CV with contact info for two academic or work references. We may ask for a writing sample. Please do not call us AMC, as in the movie theater chain. And  please read us first!
